Bioinfo Data BloQ: I am Dr. Stephen Among James, an Associate Professor of Bioinformatics at Kaduna State University (KASU), where I joined in 2005. I hold a PhD in Bioinformatics from Perdana University, Malaysia, and MSc and BSc degrees in Biochemistry from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. I am currently the Director of the Institute of Science, Technology, and Management Studies at KASU, and I head the Committee on Bioinformatics Initiative (CBi). My research focuses on biological data mining, computational drug design, vaccine targets, and disease biomarkers, with notable contributions to Shareome analysis.
